Travel to Peru and go back in time to the center of civilizations that once flourished south of the equator, culminating in the Inca Empire in the 16th Century. Today, Peru is the archeological capital of the Americas, and visitors to this amazing country can experience firsthand the magnificent ruins of ancient cultures that have since passed into the mist of history. Wander through the sanctuary-city of Machu Picchu, live with host families in the city of Cusco, immerse in Spanish language, and volunteer in Andean communities who live as their Incan ancestors lived. Experience the diverse culture of Peru today.
